At Rescued by Love Ministries, we envision a world where people are transformed by the love of God, and as a result, they love Him, themselves, and others with their whole hearts. We strive to achieve this by upholding God's truth with compassion and without compromise, both locally and internationally.
I love RBL because my life has been transformed by its mission. I also believe strongly in the approach taken by the leadership. It's the only company I know whose sole priorities are loving people and honoring God. It's a business instead of a nonprofit in order to be self-sustaining so that it can provide more care to more people. It's the outgrowth of the lifestyle of one individual gifted with an unusual capacity to love others. Simone started this company so that the incredible work she was already doing in her personal life could have an even greater impact. As people are brought into the space of receiving healing love and care, they are also being equipped to become not only receivers but givers. In this way, the work is multiplied exponentially."

Simone Cato is an inspiring author, counselor, and international speaker, known for her unwavering devotion as a worshiper, wife, and mother of four. Born in St. Catherine, Jamaica, Simone's journey of faith began at a young age, igniting a passion for leading others to spiritual victory and fostering a deep love for Jesus Christ, themselves, and others.
With a heart full of compassion, Simone is dedicated to uplifting and equipping people to overcome challenges and thrive in healing and wholeness through the power of God's love. She has been pivotal in creating safe, nurturing spaces where individuals can grow, learn, and engage with God. Her remarkable ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds has earned her the reputation of a beloved mentor and leader in her community.
Simone's commitment to empowerment extends beyond her professional endeavors. As a devoted wife and mother, she exemplifies the balance between family and ministry, building strong, loving relationships that serve as a testament to her faith.
An accomplished worship leader, Simone's talents shine through her passionate and authentic worship, guiding others to experience the transformative power of God's love. Her ministry journey has been marked by significant outreach efforts, including ministering to homeless youth, sharing Jesus' love with women in the sex industry, and embracing those who felt alienated from the church.
Rescued by Love, aims to spread authenticity and love both locally and internationally. Through retreats, conferences, intimate worship gatherings, Bible studies, and prayer meetings, lives have been positively impacted in Michigan, Jamaica, England, Germany, and beyond.

A year ago, I was seriously struggling with my mental and emotional health. As I was continuing to navigate years-long battle with ongoing depression and very dark thoughts, I attended Mask Off. Through that conference plus a year of being in its loving Mask Off community, I am now preparing to walk into that same conference this year with a heart on the mend and ready to share with others the love that I have so generously received. My mental and emotional health are in a better place than I ever remember them being at any point throughout my life. I have joy in ways that were previously unfamiliar to me. This conference was really a blessing to me. I am so, so glad I went. I loved meeting so many different women and hearing their stories. I especially appreciated meeting and hearing from women who were a little older than I am. I felt like I met some big sisters, and mamas, and aunties."
I know this is not like other conferences in a lot of ways, and I really hope it stays that way. Please don't ever get caught up in trying to mimic what others do. I think part of the blessing is that it is counter-cultural in a lot of ways. I will feel so sad if I come next year and there's a band on a stage. I really hope you continue to preserve the beauty of simplicity. I think a lot of this probably goes without saying, but I just wanted to express my personal affirmation and appreciation of those principles."
I was going through years of struggle and inner turmoil. On the outside I was content and okay dealing with daily life but inside I was struggling with broken family relationships, dealing with my child's addiction and my own health issues, financial hardship and more. I am praising God because I got my breakthrough at Mask Off! My heart is healed, I have peace, my family is mending, I have hope, and I see my life and my family's lives changing."

Pastor Latitia Watkins
Pastor Latitia Watkins is a woman of God who is passionate about intimacy with the Lord and intercession for His Kingdom and His people. She was ordained as a Minister in 2011 and became the Women’s Pastor at Evangel Ministries in Detroit, MI, where she served in that role for four years. Since 1999 she has led numerous discipleship groups and has a heart to disciple young women. In 2020 she began leading a Life Group of seven young women and started “Elijah House of Prayer”, a weekly one-hour call where the Lord is exalted, and intercession is made for the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Latitia and her husband, Pastor John Watkins have been married for 33 years and are blessed to have 9 nieces and nephews they love and numerous spiritual children. They have served as leaders in ministry together for over 20 years. Pastor Latitia is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B. A. in Communications. She currently works remotely as the Executive Assistant to the CEO at the International African American Museum in Charleston, SC.
Min. Rhonda J. Smith
Rhonda J. Smith is a wife, mother, minister, teacher, writer, and speaker who is a dedicated natural health practitioner. She has been a follower of Jesus Christ for more than 25 years and attends Detroit Church, where she helps lead the women’s ministry and is the church’s administrative assistant. Her great desire is to see people prosper in their bodies and spirits. To that end, in 2012 she founded Soul Delights LLC (http://www.souldelights.com), a company that provides practical and principled products, services and programs to nourish the body and soul.
She is a graduate of Trinity School of Natural Health, where she earned the designation of Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (CHHP) and thereafter went on to become a board-certified doctor of natural health (BCDNH) through the American Natural Wellness Practitioners Board. She is a master herbalist, also obtaining her certification from Trinity School of Natural Health. Additionally, she is a certified culinary educator through Whole Cities Foundation, a nonprofit of Whole Foods Market. She conducts webinars and consults with clients across the nation, teaching them how to attain and maintain their health naturally. Dr. Smith resides in Detroit with her husband and three sons.
Apostle Triette Cathey
Triette E. Cathey's transformative journey began when, as a young child, she experienced a supernatural encounter with Christ. Since then, she has dedicated her life to serving as a Disciple of Christ, assuming various roles in the church and actively ministering as a licensed and ordained minister. Triette's dedication to faith and service extended to the marketplace, where she held positions as Director of the City of Detroit's Washington D.C. Office and Coordinator of External Affairs for the City of Detroit Department of Transportation.
In addition to her local work, Triette answered a global calling as a missionary and apostle, partnering with ministries in South Africa, Jamaica, Uganda, and Canada. She has initiated several Parachurches, New Church Plants, and ministries around the world. Over her 47-year journey, Triette has fervently practiced her faith, privately and publicly.
A passionate disciple-maker, Triette produces equipping and training curriculum to strengthen the Body of Christ and spread the message of the Gospel. Her hallmark curriculum includes "Fisherman Ministries Inc. Prophetic Training" and various other tools focused on discipleship and worship.
Triette holds degrees from Michigan State University, Ashland Theological Seminary, and the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, GA. She is certified as a Church Planter and an ordained Chaplain with the International Association of Chaplains. Together with her husband, Elder Dale A. Cathey, they steward their home as headquarters and host for Antioch Beyond House Church and Missions.
As empty nesters, Triette and Dale extend their gift of hospitality by providing respite at Rooftop Retreats for individuals in need of rest and restoration. Their scenic wooded paradise offers a one-to-two-night reprieve for weary or purpose-driven souls.
Triette and Dale have four young adult children, Brandon (34), Karmel (24), Isaac (23), and Timon (22).
DR. Sabrina Black
Dr. Sabrina D. Black is a distinguished professional with a diverse background. She is a professor, international speaker, author, counselor, life coach, and global humanitarian. For over 30 years, she has been actively involved in community work and outreach across five continents, particularly in Africa and Europe. Dr. Black is passionate about helping people live fulfilling lives, which is reflected in her Counseling and Coaching Private Practice called "Abundant Life."
As a high-energy and dynamic presenter, Dr. Black impacts audiences with hope, help, and healing. Her academic qualifications include degrees in Counseling and Psychology, and she deeply values her faith in God and love for humanity.
Dr. Black's accomplishments include authoring 10 books and workbooks, such as "Live Right Now" and "HELP For Your Leadership." She is a respected columnist for Today's Christian Living and a member of the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association. Furthermore, she has contributed her expertise to various training projects on topics like Race and Reconciliation, Grief and Loss, Domestic Violence, DivorceCare, GriefShare, and Single Parenting.
Moreover, Dr. Black has pursued holistic health studies, becoming a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (CHHP) and a board-certified doctor of natural health (BCDNH) through the American Natural Wellness Practitioners Board. She is also a master herbalist and a certified culinary educator through Whole Cities Foundation. Dr. Black conducts webinars and consults with clients nationwide, empowering them to achieve and maintain their health naturally.
Currently residing in Detroit with her husband and three sons, Dr. Sabrina D. Black's life verse is Luke 1:45, and her dedication to helping others and making a positive impact on communities is evident throughout her impressive journey.
